About
I am currently working on my Ph.D in history at Rutgers University, examining the interaction between educational ideals and Louis XIV's so-called absolutist state around the question of Protestant conversion in 1680s Paris. My research interests focus around questions of the role of the state in religious change, the evolution of educational thought in early modern Europe, and the interaction of social and religious forces as the Enlightenment approaches.
